    Need Help With Nest

Hello everyone this is my first time here and I hope my issue is not a duplicate one. I bought a home and I decided to replace the old thermostat. I currently have an old Bryant thermostat (wires: Y, G, R, W) My furnace is a Trane, model TUE1B080A9361AC and my AC is a Carrier. I bought the nest thermostat, hook it up and it gives me error E30, it says the Y1 or yellow wire does not have power. I worked with nest tech support, we swapped cables and I can get heat from the W wire but since the Y wire does not have power there is no AC.

They asked me to send them a picture of the control board and they told me its not compatible with it, the control board I have is made by OWL FLEX (24 volts only).

I really love the nest and it to work in my home, is there a way to make this work? do I need to change the control board? Do I need to re-wire? install jumpers? etc.. Please any help will be appreciated.

In this thread there was a issue with the Nest not detecting power on the G wire. A isolation relay was installed to fix the issue. I think you could install a isolation relay at your outdoor unit to fix your issue. You could use this relay

Was your A/C working properly with your existing thermostat?

Thanks for the reply. Yes the AC works fine with the old thermostat just not with the Nest.

That control board is not in the AHU... what is it for? Do you have a zoning system?
