    Hello,

    Currently running:

Trane XR402 thermostat and the separate 550 humidistat
    Trane XR15 Heat Pump (Heat/AC)
    Heil Gas Forced Air Furnance
    Aprilaire 550

Would like wifi programmable with humidifier control all in one and DIY install, as the nearest Nest and or Ecobee reps 2+ hours in any direction. Have an unopened Nest2.0 in hand but i am leaning toward taking it back and continuing to explore options. Was looking at the PDF files for the Honeywell 8580 but didn't see any mention of it be able to run the humidifier??

    Thank you.

Ecobee is a good choice or Honeywell prestige iaq with odt and internet gateway (costly) would be the best option for useability, IMO

Hi, Hope I posting in right thread. I need help figuring out better thermostat. The goal is not to replace broken one, but to save on heating costs, easier and smarter management (schedule etc) and ease of use.
My top runners are : ecobee Smart Si Thermostat 2 and White-Rodgers 1F86U-42WF Emerson Sensi

    My current system:
Two fully independent zones: One furnace in attic and one in basement. Two carrier condensers outside.
Current Thermostats - Honeywell Tradeline T8112D1005. Wires used: W,Y,G,R (Blue wire (C?) is also there, but not used). It used 2x AA.
Furnaces: Goodman GMS90703BXA - 93% AFUE with Goodman CAPF036b2c Indoor coil

I'm doing IT so WiFi would not be an issue.

    Thank you in advance.
