Unhappy Thermostat and Furnace wiring problem, please HELP!

Hello, I am new to the forum, and new to hvac.

My furnace fan will not start when AC is on. I had a pro look at it,
and he said my control board on the furnace is bad. I replaced
the board, but still no luck. I am quite sure that the wires
are incorrectly connected. If anyone could help me figure out where to
correctly run the wires, you would be helping me greatly.

Upon observation of the control board and thermostat,
I have noticed the wires are not the traditional colors usually used in hvac.
Which makes it more difficult to figure out where everything should go.

I have included a .jpg picture of a schematic that I drew of my system.
I do not have a heat pump. I live in northern Illinois, and the system is
about 20 years old. There is no flashing lights to determine error codes.
    Its a carrier furnace.

I appreciate all comments and suggestions!

Your wiring is not typical. If you place the system in heat does the indoor fan run. At the furnace is that a GC terminal?
