Which smart thermostat works with this wiring? Please help!

    Hi all,
I am new to this forum, would really appreciate some help upgrading my 20-year old Chronotherm 3 thermostats to smart wifi based ones.
We have two York HVAC units servicing four zones. Two zones upstairs and two zones downstairs - each zone controlled via a Honeywell Chronotherm III thermostat. For each HVAC unit we have an Aprilaire 6202 Single Stage 2 Zone Control Panel. Each HVAC unit has dampers (I am not sure which make) to regulate air flow for the two zones. This is a master-slave setup where one thermostat on each floor regulates HEAT/COOL/OFF as well as the temperature for a zone and the slave thermostat just sets the temperature for a zone.
I have attached photos of the thermostats and control panels if that helps.
I tried switching to Nest but their technicians said it wasn't compatible. Is there another make of wifi smart thermostat that you think would be compatible?

    Thanks so much in advance
